Internet Profiles Corp.
unveiled Netline, a new Web measurement tool that replaces its flagship I/Count system, at the Web Advertising '96 conference in New York this week. The service, aimed at corporate Web site operators, starts at $1,000 for small sites. A key benefit to the new service is the ability to generate reports on a regular schedule, including daily or weekly. Previously, I/Count users had to submit a query to I/Pro, which resulted in delays. The service is also designed to boost I/Pro's business in the corporate site market. Only about 25% to 30% of its current 200 customers are corporate sites, said Steve Klein, I/Pro's VP-marketing. I/Pro's main competition in this realm includes software solutions such as Interse's market focus.
