Also announced today, Virtually React, an online brand of React, will have new Web rates in 1996. Online advertising on the publication was originally bundled in a print package, but Virtually React plans to offer Web-only advertising. Online rates have yet to be determined. (Full-page print rates in 1996 are $73,080 for four-color and $58,460 for black & white.)
Since launching, the service has logged a minimum of 60,000 home page visits and is working with advertisers such as L'Oreal, Imagination Network and Kaplan SAT. In 1996 the site will also add a searchable database for teens wishing to reach crisis centers, philanthropies or government officials to better their communities or help themselves.
