(June 27, 2001) -- New York-based rich media company Gizmoz and i-traffic, a subsidiary of Seneca Investments-backed Agency.com, have entered a deal in which i-traffic will provide Gizmoz's "Smart Envelope" technology to select clients.

The program delivers streaming audio and video, two- and three-dimensional animation, text and other media available on the Web. Users can save and send the "Gizmo" and then copy it to a Web site maintained by them.

The first project is the "Great Books Deals" Gizmo that was developed for i-traffic client Bookspan. It contains special membership offers from 17 of Bookspan's 48 book clubs. Gizmoz's technology will present multiple club offers in a single creative message that can be passed along to others. -- Adrienne Mand
