IAB forming local ad committeeThe Internet Advertising Bureau is forming a new committee to support local Internet advertising. The committee will be headed by Greg Stuart, VP-marketing and business development at Cars.com, and is now seeking members. Possible initiatives include defining geographically based Web advertising voluntary guidelines, developing how-to materials for buying local Web advertising, and helping local TV, cable and radio operations optimize their online sales.
