The meeting will for the first time bring together IABmembers and boards from both Europe and the U.S.: membersare expected from seven IAB countries, including Belgium,France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Switzerland, the U.K.and the U.S.
"This is a key time for online advertising in Europewith strong industry growth," says Jean-Pierre Levieux,IAB France board member and European representative onthe U.S. IAB board of directors. "The ability for themajor players from Europe and the U.S. to meet and discuss issues will benefit us all."
Adds IAB U.S. Chairman Rich LeFurgy: "The first international meeting ... will help us all to better understandthe differences of our markets and the similarities, andwill enable us to work more closely together as we continueto build and evolve online media."
The meeting will be held at the Okura Hotel, Amsterdam.It will be followed by a sightseeing tour/cocktail reception on IAB-sponsored canal boats and the IAB Leadershipdinner at the Amsterdam Renaissance Hotel, KoepelkerkCenter.
