The Internet Advertising Bureau is preparing to enforce its rule that 300 member companies post clear privacy policies on their sites. The IAB will hold privacy educational seminars for members June 29 in New York and July 12 in San Francisco. Following a 60- or 90-day transition period after the seminars, IAB Chairman Rich LeFurgy said, members will be required to post privacy policies meeting certain guidelines to maintain membership. "There couldn't be a more important issue," Mr. LeFurgy said. "There's mother, apple pie and consumer privacy."
