CompuServe on Wednesday unveiled BusinessWeb, a Web hosting service for small and midsize businesses. To subscribe to the service, which will also help business owners create and maintain sites, CompuServe is charging $50 to sign up, and a monthly fee of $79 that includes 20 hours of access to the entire service.

In related news, IBM and Women's Connection Online announced a package that will combine IBM's Internet Connection with free features from WCO. Users of the IBM/WCO Internet Connection, which requires using IBM's Internet Connection service, will start at WCO's home page and receive WCO special features.

The features include IBM's Home Page Creator, which allows users to create home pages on the Internet and list them on the WCO site at no charge; discussion groups led by experts on business-related topics; and other issues relevant to women and women business owners.
