(July 26, 2001) -- IBM, Armonk, N.Y., and Waltham, Mass.-based Internet network Terra Lycos, announced a two-year deal establishing IBM as the premier provider of servers, enterprise software and services for Terra Lycos' worldwide e-business infrastructure.

The IBM systems will tie together Terra Lycos' Web-serving, enterprise resource planning and CRM systems.

The two companies also agreed to explore marketing collaboration opportunities, and IBM intends to advertise on the Terra Lycos network of sites. -- Adrienne Mand
