The first major TV effort from Ben & Jerry's Homemade breaks this week on a variety of network, cable and syndicated shows. Directed by Spike Lee, the 30-second spot features eight activists eating the new Smooth, No Chunks line. The spot subtly conveys that "it's not just a black and white world," as Vice Chairman Jerry Greenfield says. Black Panther founder Bobby Seale, for example, is seen licking vanilla ice cream.
