Information technology company International Data Corp. is forming a joint venture with RelevantKnowledge, both companies announced Feb. 23. RelevantKnowledge is a startup that specializes in Web audience measurement. Under the terms of the deal, IDC will use data from RelevantKnowledge's Web measurement product and statistics to publish research studies analyzing and projecting Web usage trends on a quarterly basis. RelevantKnowledge's measurement model is similar to TV household ratings.
