International Data Group, Boston, introduced a Web tool, Global Quick Quote
, allowing advertisers to get automated estimates on the cost of space in IDG's 285 global tech publications. The program allows advertisers to specify target audience, ad type, frequency and geography to get an idea of what a campaign would cost. IDG plans eventually to add its 210 Web sites to the program, allowing advertisers to estimate the cost of a Web campaign.
