IHOP breaks first spot from Heil Brice

IHOP Corp. breaks its first image spot today since awarding its $30 million advertising account to Heil-Brice Advertising, Newport Beach, Calif. The spot, filled with such slice-of-life imagery as a grandson teaching his grandfather to ride a scooter then their bonding at the restaurant, is wrapped in the "Anytime is a good time for IHOP" tagline. The branding commercial, a Hispanic spot and several promotional daypart commercials will run on morning news, prime and cable programming in 90 markets. Media buying is handled by Horizon Media, New York and Los Angeles and Empower/Tony Walsh Media, Cincinnati.
