Infoseek names Ingalls AOR

Published on .

Infoseek Corp. on Tuesday named Ingalls Moranville, San Francisco, its new traditional agency of record, and expects to break a TV branding campaign this fall.

Last month, Infoseek dismissed Goldberg Moser O'Neill, which had held the $2.5 million account for a year. "Ingalls seemed to catch on quickly to what we were all about," said Beth Lenahan, general manager of consumer marketing at Infoseek.

Left Field, San Francisco, is handling Infoseek's interactive advertising.

On Tuesday, Infoseek also appointed Les Wright its chief financial officer. Mr. Wright was formerly chief financial officer and chief operating officer at Fractal Design Corp.
