Remy Amerique, the U.S. importer of Cointreau liqueur, announced a proclamation has been signed with Mexico's chamber of commerce of restaurants declaring Cointreau's recipe for the Original Margarita the official drink of Mexico's Cinco de Mayo. A U.S. point-of-purchase promotion starts this month touting Cointreau Original Margarita bar kits and the official drink's recipe of tequila, Cointreau and fresh lime juice. The promotion is handled in-house.
Esselte Corp. kicks off a promotion this month for its Pendaflex hanging folder systems with the "Super Secretary Search Contest," centering on Secretaries Day April 23.
