Intel Corp. today at the @dtech conference in New York unveils these interactive ads, which are being tested on the @Home Network to prove the effectiveness of rich media advertising (see story p. S-34). Trying to show how its Pentium II processor can enhance the online experience, Intel is co-funding the @Home research. "When the pipe isn't the issue, you can start to see the upside potential for rich media," said Suzanne Brisendine, director of rich interactive marketing programs for Intel. The ads were created by Intel in-house and @Home.
