Intel Corp. today makes its move on the MTV generation, with a TV spot featuring Cracker, Jewel and the Verve Pipe, three alternative bands featured in Launch, a CD-ROM entertainment magazine.

"It's the coolest ad we've ever done," said Ann Lewnes, director of worldwide advertising.

The 30-second spot shows how rock fans can use Launch's Web connection to communicate with bands, playing off the CD-ROM/Web theme in other Intel ads.
