International ad group woos Asian marketers

SEOUL--The World Federation of Advertisers is trying to get major Asian marketers to join the Brussels-based advertiser group. The federation has 24 corporate members, evenly split between the U.S. and Europe, but none from Asia, although a number of national advertiser associations in Asia are members. Federation executives attending this week's IAA congress are meeting with Korean advertisers in Seoul and Japanese advertisers in Tokyo to recruit new members.
