The Internet was the surprise recipient of the 1995 Entertainment Marketer of the Year Award, presented Monday at the Seventh Annual EPM Entertainment Marketing Conference in Los Angeles. The conference is produced by EPM Communications, New York, publisher of the Entertainment Marketing Letter. Accepting the award on behalf of the World Wide Web was pop culture's most famous web slinger, Marvel Comics' Spider-Man. Last year's winner was McDonald's Corp.
