Internet Broadcasting Systems launches sites

Published on .

Internet Broadcasting Systems is launching four new Web channels in Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Orlando and Sacramento, Calif. This rollout is part of IBS' ongoing national expansion, which will include 40 markets by the end of 2000. The four new Web sites, built in partnership with Hearst-Argyle Television, owner of the local TV stations, offer local and national news, weather, sports and other local community and interactive services. Each new local Web channel has its own advertising staff that will work with its established sales force.
