Internet shoppers aren't spenders

Only 10% of Web users who responded to a recent survey said they have made a purchase via the Internet. The telephone survey, conducted by Chilton Research Services, also found that 36% believe getting product information online is important but only 14% say ordering products is important. Of the 1,012 respondents to the April poll, 76% said getting information on subjects of interest is important.
