CHICAGO (AdAge.com) -- Interpublic Group of Cos. confirmed it dropped its PepsiCo-related lawsuit against Brian Willams and Omnicom Group.

That legal action, described in a story in the Oct. 8 issue of Advertising Age that went to press late Friday night, claimed Omnicom conspired to steal clients and employees after PepsiCo pulled an estimated $350 million worth of advertising for its Quaker Oats and Gatorade brands.

More details to come as this story unfolds.
