Iomega zips to TV

Iomega Corp. on Friday begins a cable and spot TV campaign for its hot-selling Zip computer storage device, expanding to print in April in The Wall Street Journal, Business Week, Newsweek, Sports Illustrated and in May computer magazines. Iomega began its first-ever consumer campaign, for its Ditto drive, in February. Starting from zero, Iomega is expected to spend more than $10 million this year on U.S. consumer ads, via Dahlin Smith White, Salt Lake City.
