iVillage, Glaxo Wellcome ink deal

iVillage inked an $1.7 million ad deal with Glaxo Wellcome. During the yearlong deal, Glaxo Wellcome will sponsor areas of iVillage's health channel in which users can build personalized health programs, including smoking cessation, migraine and asthma treatment centers that have assessment tools, content and community features. Glaxo Wellcome also will advertise its pharmaceutical products in iVillage.com's health channel.
