iVillage IPO imminent

iVillage, New York, filed a registration statement March 12 with the Securities & Exchange Commission indicating it would begin selling to the public its shares of common stock as soon as its registration statement becomes effective. The online women's network has proposed selling 3.62 million shares of common stock at an initial price of $12 to $14 per share. IVillage has requested its underwriters reserve, at the IPO price, up to 538,461 shares of common stock for sale to the National Broadcasting Co., Liberty Media Corp. and America Online.
