Loyalty-based Internet portal iWon
, Irvington, N.Y., on Oct. 11 launched iWon Radio, a customized audio player designed by RadioAMP, Cambridge, Mass. The browser-based player, blended into the iWon site through an iWon-branded interface, displays banner ads and broadcasts more than 150 music channels in categories including classic rock, pop, dance and folk. Listeners can save their favorite stations and purchase CDs directly through the player, with fulfillment by Barnes&Noble.com. Through its incentive-based model, iWon gives away $10,000 each day to visitors, rewarding users by entering them to win each time they use the portal for Internet activities like Web surfing or e-mail. With the addition of iWon Radio, RadioAMP's network reaches more than 60 million Internet audio users.
