J&J sales higher

Johnson & Johnson, New Brunswick, N.J., reported sales of $5.4 billion and net earnings of $791 million for the second quarter of 1996, increases of 13% and 19.7% respectively, over 1995 second quarter results. Worldwide consumer sales of $1.5 billion, an increase of 5.1%, were led by the Neutrogena line of skin and hair care products, Pepcid AC acid controller and the Tylenol line.
