J&J seeks Renova approval

Johnson & Johnson's Ortho Pharmaceutical Dermatological Division is preparing to submit a marketing plan to the Food & Drug Administration for its recently approved prescription skin cream Renova. DDB Needham will handle advertising for the launch, scheduled for February. Direct marketing is expected to be handled by DDB Direct with a possible assist from Rapp Collins, a sister Omnicom unit. Budget is estimated in excess of $15 million.
