The Web site covers the entire range of cars and a company history. The site includes a database listing of Jaguar's worldwide dealers. It also allows users to send a digital picture postcard of a favorite Jaguar car via the Internet to friends anywhere in the world. The site integrates the existing Jaguar North American site to give it a worldwide brand consistency.
In 1997 Jaguar plans to build sub-sections for geographical territories to allow franchised dealers in more than 60 markets to offer local market support under the global umbrella. This could take the form of promotional events, special offer test drives, or an interactive used car database with used car locator.
