The privately held e-consultancy and software developer had done work for the car brand outside the U.S. In this country, Global Beach succeeds WPP Group's Ogilvy Interactive.
Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide and J. Walter Thompson Co. lost Jaguar's global ad account this year to WPP sibling Y&R.
"The Global Beach Group will act as primary interactive lead agency and will support Jaguar on a global scale as we evole and expand out interactive technology efforts," said Phil Cazaly, marketing director of Jaguar Cars.
Global Beach hired Kent Chesley as managing director of its North American operations at its new office in Irvine, Calif., where Jaguar Cars North America is relocating to this summer from Mahwah, N.J. He had been with Kabel New Media U.S. -- Jean Halliday
