Jaguar promotes Saltiel to ad/marketing manager

Jaguar Cars North America named Al Saltiel to advertising and marketing manager here from brand manager at its parent in Coventry, England. Mr. Saltiel said Jaguar, to launch a new sedan, will raise ad spending 20% in the fourth quarter vs. a year ago. He succeeds Tom Spencer, who moves to suburban Minneapolis as regional sales manager of Ford Motor Co.'s Ford Division. Ford owns Jaguar.
