James Murdoch rises

James Murdoch, the son of News Corp. Chairman Rupert Murdoch, was named exec VP of News Corp., New York, elevating him from president of News America Digital Publishing. Mr. Murdoch will continue building the company's digital media assets and strategy for the entire organization. News America Digital Publishing will change its name to News Digital Media, and Jon Richmond, president of Fox Interactive, becomes president of the newly named unit, reporting to James Murdoch.
