Jenny Craig International, La Jolla, Calif., appears to be expanding from a weight loss company to a wellness provider with the launch of a new line of herbal dietary supplements called Advanced Nutrients. The line, developed with Dr. Art Ulene of NBC-TV's "Today," will be sold at Jenny Craig
centers and via the Internet. A broadcast, print, direct mail and point-of-purchase campaign is planned, along with online advertising and promotion. Jenny Craig executives couldn't be reached at deadline for the name of the agency handling the launch. Suissa Miller, Los Angeles, is agency for the Jenny Craig centers; USWeb/CKS, Santa Clara, Calif., handled the Web site design.
