Jergens brings Ban to Bozell

Andrew Jergens Co., Cincinnati, hired Bozell, New York, to handle advertising for the Ban deodorant line. Jergens bought the brand last month from Chattem, Chattanooga, Tenn., for $160 million in cash and up to $6.5 million contingent on 2001 and 2002 sales. Bozell already handles the company's Jergens and Curel skincare lines.
