(Aug. 13, 2001) -- Jet Blue Airways Corp. is shifting the creative and production duties on its $10 million-plus account in-house from Havas Advertising's Arnold Worldwide, Boston, said an executive with the carrier.

Arnold continues to handle media and research on the account. A spokeswoman for the agency said the move had been afoot for a while, and that it was helping with the transition.

Jet Blue, the fledgling New York-based carrier, spent $12.8 million on measured media last year, according to Taylor Nelson Sofres' CMR. Arnold won the account in 2000 without a review. -- Rich Thomaselli and Hillary Chura
