JFAX and AOL sign three-year, $16 million marketing deal

AOL Networks and JFAX.COM signed a three-year marketing agreement, under which JFAX will be the exclusive unified messaging service on AOL. Under the terms of the agreement, JFAX will guarantee AOL $16 million against future revenue sharing. Using JFAX, AOL members will be able to send and receive faxes and voice messages over their AOL accounts. The service will be available beginning in early 1998 at a cost of $12.50 a month for up to 200 messages. The service has a $15 registration fee.
