Jones MediaAmerica, New York, the streaming media, radio and cable TV sales unit of Jones Media Networks, will be the sales rep organization for Coollink Broadcasting Network, a Dallas-based provider of streaming media ad-insertion technology. Coollink projects that this technology, which enables both terrestrial and online broadcasters to generate revenue from streaming programming, will account for $20 million of ad placements in 2001. Coollink's live ad-insertion technology allows marketers to pair audio ads with simultaneously running rich media video advertising. Jones MediaAmerica represents more than 900 news and entertainment channels, which it aggregates into networks to facilitate targeted ad buys.
