He made the jump from P&G brand manager in 2005 after helping Pampers grow 10%.
At Novartis, Mr. Rodriguez has taken a business that had been growing about 2% annually and pushed that growth to around 10%.
"He and his marketing team have reignited the Novartis brand portfolio," says Brian McNamara, a fellow P&G alum who's now Mr. Rodriguez's boss as the pharma's senior VP for OTC.
