Judge allows Clorox ads

Clorox Co. may continue to run two 15-second spots for S.O.S that are being challenged by rival Dial Corp., a federal judge in Phoenix ruled. The judge will schedule a hearing for January or February on Dial's claims that the spots falsely portray its Brillo pads in a bad light. Foote, Cone & Belding, San Francisco, which created the TV commercials, is not named in the suit.
