Published on .

Equilon Enterprises and Motiva Enterprises, both Houston, tapped J. Walter Thompson USA to handle the estimated $30 million account for Shell gas stations, credit cards and services. Ogilvy & Mather resigned the account last month after more than 30 years on it. JWT's London office won all advertising for Shell oil products outside North America a year ago. Equilon and Motiva are joint ventures combining marketing and refining for Shell Oil Co. and Texaco.
