Published on .

K-Swiss, Westlake Village, Calif., March 1 breaks three new TV spots that build on last year's "Up & Coming Athletes" campaign. The commercials feature K-Swiss' new Training footwear and apparel being put to the test by up and coming athletes. Each 30-second spot will focus on how the athletes train to be the best in their sports via speed, strength or endurance exercises. The athletes featured are Mark Quinn, the 1999 AAA minor league baseball Rookie of the Year in the Pacific Coast League; Cecil Mamiit, a relative newcomer on the ATP tennis circuit who finished the 1999 season ranked 96th in the world; and Jamie Clark, a defender for Major League Soccer's San Jose Earthquakes. Houston Helm Fattal & Collins, Marina del Rey, handles.
