K2 taps execs from other agencies

K2 Design has named Manning Rubin a group creative director for the New York-based interactive agency. He was formerly senior VP-international creative director on the Kellogg's account at J. Walter Thompson. Separately, the company also named Nelson Hunter its chief financial officer. He will assume those duties immediately, which were formerly handled by K2 Chairman and CEO David Centner. Mr. Hunter joins K2 from Gross, Townsend, Frank, Hoffman, which is a subsidiary of Grey Advertising.
