Kahlua goes into review

Hiram Walker, a unit of Allied-Domecq Spirits & Wines, has put its $12 million Kahlua account into review. Incumbent Lois/EJL, Chicago, is participating with the New York office of the agency. Other contenders include: ID8, Los Angeles; Square One, Dallas; and BBDO Worldwide and Leap Partnership, both Chicago. The distiller plans to stick with its strategy of advertising on cable TV but plans to add a print element.
