Kahn named publisher of 'The New Yorker’

David Kahn, 39, was named publisher of Conde Nast Publications' The New Yorker. He succeeds David Carey, also 39, who on Tuesday resigned to become president-CEO of Gruner & Jahr's new Business Information Group. Previously, he was publisher of World Publications' Saveur.
