Katz Radio Group Internet Marketing Services has launched a Web site
that collects market, station and other radio industry information. The site includes detailed profiles on markets, stations, formats, owners and reps, as well as in-depth studies on industry topics. The site is the first step in developing a national Internet business model for radio. "The Internet delivers some qualities that radio lacks by including visuals, detail, couponing and direct links to advertisers," said Gerry Boehme, senior VP-information systems and strategic support. "Campaigns that use both radio and the Web can take advantage of each medium's unique strengths."
