Kellogg Co.'s restructuring plan is resulting in the elimination of 765 jobs, mainly in the Battle Creek, Mich., headquarters, the company said today. Among them are 525 salaried employees and 240 additional posts at both headquarters and in North American operations. Kellogg said some of the cutting would be in marketing positions but didn't supply further specifics. The cuts, as earlier reported, are aimed at funding a $100 million infusion of marketing investment to stem ready-to-eat cereal share loss.
