Kemper aims to calm investors

Published on .

Kemper Funds, Chicago, the week of March 27 breaks a print campaign to ease investors' fears about stock market swings seen over the past month. Ads, tagged "Long-term investing in a short-term world,'' feature Kemper's global investment strategist, Robert J. Froehlich, in scenes that represent his opinions on market issues. In one ad, Mr. Froehlich appears with a Wagnerian soprano and the line "It's not yet time for the you-know-who to sing.'' The campaign from FCB Worldwide, Chicago, breaks in The Wall Street Journal and other business publications. Mr. Froehlich also will be featured in Kemper's Web site.
