Kennedy to exit Saturn

Published on .

Joe Kennedy, the top marketing executive at Saturn Corp., Troy, Mich., is leaving the subsidiary of General Motors Corp. Mr. Kennedy resigned his post as VP-sales, service and marketing, and will join e-loan, a new San Francisco Internet company, as senior VP-marketing. Mr. Kennedy also held marketing posts at the Cadillac unit and had been at GM since 1979. Succeeding him at Saturn is Jill Lajdziak, who had been executive director-marketing and retail network development. Mr. Kennedy's departure may be tied to a changing of the guard at Saturn, where Cynthia Trudell became CEO-president Jan. 1.
