Ketchum PR buys Atlanta shop

Crescent Communications, Atlanta, was acquired by Ketchum Public Relations, New York, for an undisclosed amount. Crescent, with high-tech clients like Scientific-Atlanta, IBM Worldwide Channel Marketing and Nokia, will retain its name and operate as a subsidiary of Ketchum. Ketchum's existing Atlanta office will remain separate. The two PR shops claim a combined $11 million in billings.
