Key Infoseek execs to leave

Published on .

Two more top Infoseek Corp. execs are leaving. Leonard J. LeBlanc, chief operating officer and chief financial officer, and Peter D. Rip, VP-general manager of the Infoseek Network, will leave effective July 7. Mr. Rip was responsible for Infoseek's advertising operations and marketing initiatives, including the newly launched targeted advertising service. The company said both are leaving to "pursue other interests." Infoseek has lost a handful of high-level executives in the past months, including its CEO, Robin Johnson, who in May was replaced by Harry Motro, a former CNN Interactive executive.
