tapped media columnist Jim Kirk to take on the marketing column written by George Lazarus, who died Sept. 8. The new column begins Sept. 26 and will run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The media column Mr. Kirk, 35, wrote will be shelved, with the paper's media business writer, Tim Jones, adding a weekly notebook on Thursdays. Mr. Kirk will still cover broadcast media in his marketing column.
